As group we have decided on the choice of site to be the Ye Old Trip To Jerusalem Pub. In addition we have concluded , but not fully decided, on the senses on which we would like to make our device/instrument on which are Sight [visual], Smell [olfactory] and Touch [tactile receptors]. The decisions where based on what as a group we thought the site offered the most character and most visual, aroma and feel to the environment in which we where in.
Before entering the building and looking at its façade I instantly thought of low ceilings and door frames and the smell of dampness from the cave itself. Upon entering the pub my predictions were met with fairly low door frames and a slight hint of dampness. But since the pub does serve food, the majority of the smell of the dampness of the place was masked by the food being made. On the other hand something that I did not quite expect were the high ceiling as you entered the cavern rooms.
With the pub being essentially and extension to the caves, the "cave" rooms had unexpectedly high roofs that were proudly shown off by spot lights. However my concept of low ceilings was still met when entering the pub rooms were although they looked high enough, they certainly were not suited for tall people.
